Math 1

In winter term 2011 I give Math 1 lectures for the course Information Engineering. The subject splits up in two lectures: Algebra and Calculus 1.

Lecture notes

After finishing the lecture this term I combined all chapters into a single script together with a table of contents and an index. All known bugs have been removed.

Exam

We will have two separate exams, one for calculus 1 and one for algebra.

To the exams you may take four A4-pages of notes (four single-sided or two double-sided) either hand- or machine-written. For the latter case use a font that is not smaller than hand written size, i.e. not smaller than 8 pt. No calculator, handy, laptop or any other electronic device is allowed.
